About me
Renée (she/her) has been the lead teacher for the GSA at Paul Kane High School in St. Albert since 2013. Renée is one of the co-chairs for the St. Albert Local No. 73 Rainbow Network Educators’ GSA and a founding member of the new Alberta Teachers’ Association Gender and Sexuality Alliance (ATA GSA). Renée can regularly be found at the Edmonton area teacher GSA meetings. Renée is a part of the SOGI group for St. Albert Public. In 2023 Renée was a consulting teacher in helping to create St. Albert Public’s 2SLGBTQIA+ Perspectives 7-8-9 option course. Renée lives in Edmonton with her husband and can regularly be found in the river valley on her bike or on a wall at a bouldering gym.
