About me
Liz Harrison has been teaching high school students for over a decade, and works to hold space and time for students to become courageously vulnerable creators and authentic communicators. Liz completed a Master of Education in Canadian Literacies in 2024 and is in the second-last course of a Graphic Design and Interactive Media Diploma. Liz believes multimodality in texts, learning processes and products in English, Humanities, and Arts classrooms creates access and equity in education, and that proficiencies-based, capabilities-centered support lets students navigate and establish personal boundaries. Students can then feel safe to take risks and play ‘dangerously’ with language arts.
