About me
Izabella, an accomplished artist and educator, holds an MFA from the New York Academy of Art and a Ph.D. in education from the University of Alberta. Her contributions to art education have been recognized with the Winspear Fund Grant and the Dahesh Museum Award in New York. She is renowned for her commissioned portraits of notable figures, such as Lois Hole, Dr. Harriet Winspear, and Dr. Grant MacEwan. Izabella's work is exhibited nationally, and she is a respected speaker at art education conferences worldwide. She has over 20 years of teaching experience stretching from K-12, including being a fine arts instructor at the Faculty of Extension at the University of Alberta. Izabella continues to teach within the Edmonton Public School District.
