About me
Chet grew up in rural Alberta, not far from the Battle River. He completed a BA in History from the Augustana Campus of the University of Alberta in 2008 and an MA in Medieval History from King’s College, London in 2017. He joined Visitor Services as a Heritage Interpreter in the fall of 2017 and the SATL team in 2023. Chet is especially interested in the development of the Westminster System. He is looking forward to teaching students how and why our democracy works and sparking a love of history in them. Chet can often be found reading history, writing, playing a passable bass guitar, and making sure that his wife, son, and menagerie of four-footed dependents are fed and cared for.
