Sharing abstract concepts like active citizenship and democracy in the classroom can pose some serious challenges. Join the Visitor Services Team from the Legislative Assembly Office of Alberta in a hands-on learning session about innovative ways to enliven programming based in inquiry, while encouraging active citizenship of all participants. During this session, we will discuss different ways of using innovative, budget-friendly tools to enhance your own programming while highlighting resources offered by the Legislative Assembly Office. We will empower teachers to bring all levels of content to life in the classroom in ways that are dynamic and engaging. The Legislative Assembly Office provides fun and unique learning experiences that emphasize active citizenship and the democratic process.
